Ingenious Engineers

Have fun taking part in the Ingenious Engineers Challenge.
Explore through practical application with Vulcan XH558 some of the maths and science required of ingenious engineers. 

• Start with an introduction in the First Class Cabin.
• Discuss and consider a variety of practical problems that require engineering solutions to enable Vulcan XH555 to fly.
• Complete the graded Ingenious Engineers Challenge sheets – covering number; shape, space and measure and handling data.
• Visit the working hangar to see the awesome Vulcan XH558.

20 minutes    Copper Challenge in the First Class Cabin

20 minutes    Titanium Challenge in the First Class Cabin

20 minutes    Silver Challenge in the cockpit exhibit

20 minutes    Gold Challenge in the hangar with Vulcan XH558

20 minutes    Concluding session in the First Class Cabin
